Happy Thanksgiving

Last week was Thanksgiving and I was thankful for the short break from work.  Emily and I went to her hometown and stayed with her parents in the motorhome, which is always fun… lots of pinochle and quality time with family.  We had our Thanksgiving on Friday and I was overwhelmed with about 50 cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews (and many more complicated-to-describe-the-relation relatives).

Emily and I drove home Saturday to have a day of rest on Sunday before returning to work… which turned out great, because Rebecca St. James was leading worship at The Rock Church, which made our day.  I hope you all had a great weekend as well.  As for us, we now have our sights on an even longer Christmas break 🙂
